In a site which sole purpose is the play of this game, this is just a bold strategy. BECAUSE of the conclusion EVERYBODY seems to arrive at, they missed the deadline on purpose to make us go for lurkers and buy time. Like SW said, any kill is better than no kill, so they will just let us kill each other during the day and now they have most of you thinking we have newbs as Mafia.

Big Bonus on the NO Mafia kill!!

Maybe they are newbs or lurkers or both (or just stupid). And our game mod stated that both factions missed the deadlines. Makes you wonder how many of the special roles have gone to newbies or lurkers. Hopefully this makes it an easier time for the town this time around.

I still say that we should go for the lurkers. It's still the best way to go. Especially now that it's likely that there are scumbags in that list. Two lurkers left, so I'll go for Godling since he's been voted for already.

perhaps if you and camn are both scum and could not get ahold of zane thus forcing the mafia no kill and if you can keep the heat off of him you are buying him one more day to respond to you, and then you will get your precious night kill, and by lynching godling a who would be innocent, the town loses another townie, wich the town expects to lose townies when we lynch lurkers anyway

Perhaps you shouldn't have entered your friend into the game because now you are making up your own logic to protect someone who is not playing the game, hence the term lurker. But you seem to be going way overboard in that attempt, hmm

Well, I gotta leave for along day of work, so here goes.

I poked at the mafia by calling them idiots. SO far the only person to poke back (directly) is Dj Sypher. Interesting.

Adrian has proposed that mafia missing a nightkill is a bold strategic move, and that they're going to let us kill each other one by one. Really? 'Cause I think that's a crap strategy, there's plenty of ways to misdirect us and still get a night kill.

So the cop didn't weigh in either? That's bad news, and makes me a little wary of killing the lurkers off in a big hurry... hopefully everyone will show up today.

But I just don't know what to think yet, so I'll say this - if they're going to wait for us to kill ourselves, lets not do them any favors. Hopefully votes for the lurkers will get them to step up and speak for themselves, but I'm afraid one of them will be the cop. Admittedly, if the cop's not playing they're useless anyway, but... i dunno. I have a bad feeling about this whole thing.

Therefore, I vote No Lynch.

OK. I exaggerated. I meant Mafia missed just last night's deadline to seem newbs. They won't keep missing it because by definition of the game they can't win that way.

SW, why do you say the cop isn't playing? We know at least one side missed the deadline, Mafia for sure. The Cop MAY have missed it, but we don't know... And there's no strategy, bold or not, to defend the Cop missing out on an investigation.

Look.. I am willing to kill anyone who didn't log in during the night phase last night. Not just lurkers, but anybody who was at work, or whatever.

I can't check the logs.. but right after the Night phase ENDED last night... I checked everyone's status.. and I got a pretty good picture of who HAD been on... so I have a good list of innocents going.

Will I share? No. That just helps scum.

You can get some good insights sometimes by checking out who is around during the night phase, and who is not.

Wow, I never seen the mafia miss a kill before. I think that means they are not communicating with eachother properly or havent logged on. So I think its safe to assume that the no shows for yesterdays votes are likely mafia. Or is that the mafias shrewd plan? Did they miss a kill on purpose? To make us go after the lurkers? I dont think so, missing a kill cant be a good strategy. And dont think I didnt notice that your first post was after the deadline SW and because it was so long and exciting I think it was you being shocked that you and your fellow mafia members missed the vote. SW is highly suspicious IMHO and so is anyone else that didnt post yesterday.

i think the lurkers do need to go. the only reason for missing the deadline was because they weren't logged in. which i know points to me too. but i can assure u all that i am town. i'm a cook in a bar so i have to work friday and saturday nights so i will never be here for the deadline those 2 days. with all that being said

Game mod says "Tardiness will not be tolerated", but that doesn't mean that in some cases it won't be appreciated
